Artist Memo: Some told me that they were surprised and disgusted when they first saw the original Mona Lisa at the Louvre (painted by Leonardo Da Vinci, 1502). They said the painting was not as 'pretty' as those they saw in postcards and magazines. I think the nature of originality and existence seems to have a different definition in this funny era we live in.
